Influenza  and  are both contagious respiratory illnesses, but they are caused by different viruses. Anyone can have mild to severe symptoms. Older adults and people who have severe underlying medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from Corona virus illness.The Corona virus and Disease Severity tab now allows users to view monthly trends in disease severity by age, sex, or race/ethnicity from 3 different data sources.

When to Seek Emergency Medical Attention
